Detecon Al Saudia Co. Ltd. Contracts Pre-launch Capacity on the Intelsat-15 Satellite

Pembroke, Bermuda, 3 March 2009

Intelsat Ltd., the world's leading provider of fixed satellite services, announced that Detecon Al Saudia Co. Ltd. (DETASAD) signed a multi-year contract for Ku-band capacity on Intelsat’s new satellite, IS-15 which will be located at 85ºE when it is launched later this year.

DETASAD, a German-Saudi Arabian joint venture telecommunications and IT company, will use this capacity to provide additional Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) transmission services to its small and medium enterprise, government and maritime customers throughout the Middle East.

Detecon Al Saudia to Distribute Intelsat’s Network Broadband Global Maritime Service

Intelsat Ltd., the world's leading provider of commercial satellite services, announced today that Detecon Al Saudia Co. Ltd. has signed a multi-year agreement with Intelsat to distribute Intelsat’s Network Broadband Global Maritime service to its maritime customers.

Detecon Al Saudia, a German-Saudi Arabian joint venture telecommunications and IT company, will provide its cargo vessel and oil rig customers in Saudi Arabia and throughout the Middle East region, Intelsat's Network Broadband Global Maritime service offering "always-on" broadband access enabling vessels to stay connected regardless of fleet location.

DETASAD CONTRACTS NSS-12 SATELLITE CAPACITY FOR THE MIDDLE EAST WITH SES NEW SKIES

The Hague and Dubai, UAE, March 3, 2009 – SES NEW SKIES, an SES Company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG), announced today at Satellite MENA that DETECON Al Saudia Co. Ltd. (DETASAD) has contracted 36 MHz of capacity on the upcoming NSS-12 satellite. NSS-12 is scheduled for operational service in the second half of 2009 and will replace the existing NSS-703 satellite at the orbital location of 57 degrees East.
